MULTI-DIMENSIONAL FIGURES
Multi-dimensional figures are created using an alternative technique to provide a lifelike perspective.
Red Admiral #11, 7 3/4 width
Vanessa atalanta, the red admiral or previously, the red admirable, is a well-characterized, medium-sized butterfly with black wings, orange bands, and white spots. It has a wingspan of about 2 inches. It was first described by Carl Linnaeus in his 1758 10th edition of Systema Naturae.
Zebra Swallowtail #12, 6 3/4 width
Swallowtail, in the family Papilionidae, includes over 600 species, which can be found in temperate and tropical regions. Butterflies can symbolize long life, resurrection, hope and renewal. This Swallowtail represents the balance between light and dark.
Swallowtail #4, 8 3/4″ width
Swallowtail butterflies are large, colorful butterflies in the family Papilionidae, and include over 550 species. Though the majority are tropical, members of the family inhabit every continent except Antarctica.
Monarch #5, 7 1/4″ width
Monarch, in the family Nymphalidae, includes only 3 species, and migrates both north and south on an annual basis. Its scientific name literally means “sleepy transformation”. This monarch represents the coming summer season.

Due to the devastation of valuable habitat in Central America, the spotting of a monarch is a rare event. This monarch, in the family Nymphalidae, rests gently on a sunflower, its proboscis quickly drinking in the nectar.
The luna moth, Actias luna, can be found from Saskatchewan to central Florida. they are mostly spotted at night, so leaving lights on may help to attract them. This luna moth, however, can be spotted in both day and nighttime.

The luna moth, Actias luna, has a wingspan of up to 114 mm, making it one of the largest moths in North America. This multidimensional luna moth is created from translucent glass.
The luna moth, Actias luna, can symbolize rebirth, renewal of body and spirit, and regeneration. This luna moth will remind you to take a moment for yourself!

The Yellow Swallowtail is frequently seen in the Mid-Atlantic Region during the summer months. The body and leg structure of this piece is unique to this series.
