Orange Lily

The Orange Daylily blooms only one time, unless it is created from stained glass! This Lily will bring color to your home year round. The flower petals are cut from orange striated glass, fired for shape and texture. The leaves are deep green stained glass, also fired for shaping. Petals and leaves are partially wrapped with copper foil, and solder joined. The centers are created from copper wire, soldered and lacquered. The stem is twisted copper wire, solder joined to the flower and petals.  Various shades of patina are applied for effect. The piece is 12.5 inches high and 6 inches across.
