Dogwood Branch in Vase – $365 – A single branch in early blossoming stage. The white glass flower petals are glass painted and kiln slumped for shape and color permanency. The flower centers are copper wire, individually soldered and layer-lacquered in green and yellow, then twisted and solder-joined to the petals to form the flower. The leaves are variegated pale green glass, kiln slumped, foiled and patinaed in faded black. The branch is comprised of multiple strands and thicknesses of copper wire, twisted to shape, soldered and patinaed in faded black. Both flowers and petals are solder-joined to the branch, creating a life-life presentation of a blooming white dogwood. The branch sits freely in the custom-made glass vase. This creation measures 16 inches high by 10 inches across.
